“Choosing to study at Transit Dance was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.” Jessica Cranage (Dancer, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines)

100% Performance based training.

We strongly believe that experience performing on stage is the most important thing for aspiring performers wanting a career in dance. That's why at Transit Dance all full time students perform in four professional productions each year.

...and they're not just a showcase either.

Each term students work with a new highly acclaimed choreographer to present a 30-40 minute full scale show, as part of a 3-4 night season.

A nurturing approach to education.

We are serious about dance, but we're also serious about our students well being. That is why Transit Dance is committed to providing the highest level of support to our community through our:

Student-to-staff ratio of 10:1 (One of the highest in the industry). Capped class sizes of 25-30 students. Full time Student Coordinator (and resident mum) Gina Dwipayana. Nurturing & supportive approach to dance training.

A faculty of industry leaders.

Transit Dance only recruits established choreographers, directors & teachers to work on their full time productions and classes.

Along with providing valuable insight into professional process, it also gives students the opportunity to build useful industry relationships.
