We strongly believe that experience performing on stage is the most important thing for aspiring performers wanting a career in dance. That's why at Transit Dance all full time students perform in four professional productions each year.

Each term students work with a new highly acclaimed choreographer to present a 30-40 minute full scale show, as part of a 3-4 night season.

Artistic Director, Transit Dance
Paul Malek has a reputation as Australia’s best storyteller through movement. Working for many commercial networks and artists spanning 15 years, Paul is now committed to innovation in Contemporary dance with his vision and dream that has become one of Australia’s biggest dance education institutes, Transit Dance.
Actively engaged in the Australian dance community, Malek is currently the President of the Board of Directors for the Australian Teachers of Dancing International, is the former Artistic Director of The Victorian Dance Festival, and an active board member of Transit Dance Initiative.
Head of Contemporary, Transit Dance
Bradley is one of Australia's most acclaimed dance professionals with over 30 years in the creative and performing arts industry; 21 years as a Performing Artist and 9 years as a Rehearsal Director, teacher, educator, mentor and arts advisor.
Born in Mordialloc, Bradley is a descendant of the Kamilaroi people. Upon graduating from The Australian Ballet School, Bradley joined the Hong Kong Ballet. In 1991 he accepted a position with Sydney Dance Company (SDCo) under the direction of Graeme Murphy and Janet Vernon, remaining with the company until 2009 and performing the full company repertoire to great acclaim.
Bradley is highly acclaimed in the dance industry being a recipient of numerous awards and in 2009 was named in Sydney Morning Herald’s Top 100 Most Influential People in Sydney.
